A New Season and thus A New Chance
Hi there to all u acx-ers. I know i'm now like sam chew, an ex-acx-er or rather, an ac-ex-er, but here's some words of ecnouragement. I hope it still counts to you all.
It was definitely much of a pleasure and really good seeing you all again that day at macritchie even though some were 'missing in action'. I still support all of you in your endeavours and really pray you already have in mind what you wish to achieve next year, be it representing your school(note: there is no 'third-party' tone here just because I'm now from THAT school) for the first time or coming in first at nationals. It is always good to have a target in mind when it comes to sports, or for that matter, anything you do. I know that this year we (as AcX2005) lost the 'B' divison title, but no worries, I believe you all have the faith and confidence in retrieving what is, should i say, rightfully ours? ;)
For those new to the team, I welcome you all, if there are any of you. I would like to say that you will enjoy yourself for the whole period of time you are with the team, no matter how long it may be. The team bonding, the unity, the competition, the challenges set by each otherfor one another and the help you will receive to be on your way to becoming the next national champion if that is your wish.
For the seniors, like the cabinet and the secondary 4s and above, I would like to take this oppportunity to say that you all will do well and have done rather well this year as it is. I know that there are some bitter memories in your minds, but don't pressure yourself unnecessarily; use those memories only for inspiration and not hate in any form or to stress yourself out. The mindset is very important. You must never believe that you are slow or you will be slow. Remember the winning mindset is extremely important. Finally, I would like to thank you all for the amazing times I've shared in these past 2 years or so that I've ran with you all. I really pray that all of you will continue to keep close to each other and close to God for the Christians and that the camaraderie will never die out.
