april's fool
its finally april guys
and we've come a long way
too long to blow it
for very long now we've talked about miracles
how if we try for it
we can suddenly be immortalized
how if we just believe
we will unleash a fury that is way beyond us
but what, exactly, is beyond us?
yes miracles are welcome
but what if they do not come?
i'm sure this has crossed some of your minds
but are we not good enough?
i say proudly, that we are good
we are always there, somehow
acsi has never taken a conscious effort
to blood the best runners in the country
we've always started from scratch
but year after year
we are there
we stand regularly in the upper echelons of cross-country
today i urge each of you
not to just believe in miracles
but also to believe in yourselves
the greatest battle is in you
not out there with them
they are not the only ones in this country who are good
they fear us as much as we fear them
it will never be a walkover
and we will always be there to make sure it doesnt happen
we will take it to them
as they will take it to us
and may he who believes more, win.
